There are also lightning talk sessions, but, as ever, these are organised at the conference.
The ACCU (Association of C and C++ Users) conference in the UK is a yearly event that has been going on since at least 2002. While organized by a C++ user group it doesn’t limit itself to only C++, but you can also find sessions about for example Java, C# and Python broadening the appeal to a wider audience.
You can expect to find many well-known speakers, including industry figures, writers and practicing developers giving talks here. There are many parallel tracks to follow, with a wide range of topics.
There’s an optional all day pre-conference tutorial which among several topics offers a dedicated career tutorial for developers in their first years of work.
