Description

ACCU, a premier conference for programmers and developers, is back for 2020 and will once again return to Bristol to bring together some of the best minds and game changers in the industry!

Taking place across four days, ACCU is the conference for all those interested in native languages and professionalism in programming. As in previous years, two of the five streams will focus purely on C++.

Annually attracting a host of renowned international speakers, 2020 will take an interesting look at the way technology is evolving. Will you be there?

The ACCU conference has:

  • 90 minute sessions, either:
  • 60 minute presentation with 30 minutes questions and answers.
  • 180 minute workshops
  • 20 minute sessions, 15 minute presentation and 5 minutes questions and answers.
  • full day (6 hour with breaks) pre-conference workshops

There are also lightning talk sessions, but, as ever, these are organised at the conference.

What we think

The ACCU (Association of C and C++ Users) conference in the UK is a yearly event that has been going on since at least 2002. While organized by a C++ user group it doesn’t limit itself to only C++, but you can also find sessions about for example Java, C# and Python broadening the appeal to a wider audience.

You can expect to find many well-known speakers, including industry figures, writers and practicing developers giving talks here. There are many parallel tracks to follow, with a wide range of topics.

There’s an optional all day pre-conference tutorial which among several topics offers a dedicated career tutorial for developers in their first years of work.
